Two reports in The Times today.
1. Julian Ward is leaving Liverpool after serving just one year as Sporting Director. Ward succeeded Edwards. Both were recruited from City in an attempt to copy our success.
Reports are that Julian Ward is keen to leave Dippers but van der Saar's attempts to recruit him to Ajax was a total fuck up so Ward opted out of the move. Rags were hoping Edwin was going to take up a senior position there but he's been a total clusterfuck recently so not even they will take him now.

The Daily Mail going for the Scouse jugular.

It won't go down well at Anfield.

Not going to link it but if tou want a laugh then read the Echo chamber’s hot take on why the fixture has become toxic.
Probably the most one eyed, biased and deluded thing I’ve read in years. So bad it’s actually hilarious.
Riddled with lies and inaccuracies (the Sean Cox myth, the Hillsborough chanting at Wembley lie, the lie that the Allez allez song supposedly contains the line ‘Kompany injured Salah’).
All their crimes and misdeeds, from the physical attacks on our team, staff and fans to Klopp’s dog whistle racism, are downplayed or outright denied.
Meanwhile, every perceived slight from our side is magnified, misrepresented or totally made up.
Zero mention of hacking, the attacks on our fan buses in 2014, the assault on Joe Corrigan etc etc
They really are a cult and the echo is their version of the books the scientologists on Deansgate try to push onto you

What the fuck is this absolute garbage. Is this the new league table? They're fucking sixth and to be honest they'll be lucky to stay there. The gReAtEsT tEaM ever assembled has won one league title. One. And no amount of "two games away from the quad" "just 2 pts" "just 10 minutes" is ever gonna change them from being a footnote in history. I was going to say they're the Jake LaMotta to our Sugar Ray Robinson but it's probably more accurate to call them Buster Douglas.

But wait, it's a Monumental Eight Days! They can beat us tomorrow, it is possible - but they'll still be sixth and have been dumped out of the champions league. And won't win the league. The battle for fourth!! That's what football is really about. Fuck sake.

Danny Murphy - him of the "napoli aren't up to much" encyclopedic football knowledge - right before they destroyed liverpool at home is stealing a living.

Rant over (haven't posted in two weeks so it was ready to come out).

Given the revelations this week that every founder of the Guardian newspaper made their fortune from the abhorent 17/18th century transatlantic slave trade, we can only wonder how long it will be before it closes down in shame.

The News of World had to close and that was "just" for the hacking scandal.

So the next time one of their sanctimonious football writers start judging the owners of MCFC maybe we should point out they have absolutely zero credibility and are in NO position to judge anyone ever again. In fact if any of them had a single cell of integrity they would quit that shameful organisation.

Simon Stone BBC Sport: Pep Guardiola has confirmed Erling Haaland will be checked at Manchester City's 4pm training session later before deciding whether he will be fit to play against Liverpool. It is almost as though Guardiola arranged training for that time so he didn't have to give any clues about Haaland's availability.

Sharp as a tack, that lad.
Yes, I have always thought he was a thick rag bastard too….

This is an absolute cracker. Let’s see if you can spot it. TBH, it shouldn’t take you long. Now in the Daily Fail online. There’s a reason it’s called the Daily Fail, amongst other names.

The Journalist is Spencer Morgan.

The first screen grab is a long one.

Like a twat I read it and there's absolutely no quote from Levy saying anything of the sort. They really have hit rock bottom that rag
