'Champions' League (but you can finish 4th !!) soon to be expanded and will probably go to 6 in England to virtually ensure that the big red shirted clubs are always in. If anyone wonders why there are currently 4 places up for grabs and how the farce of FFP suddenly happened look no further than the esablished cosy cartelI sense a tide is turning, slowly. These clubs and their narrative peddled by the media is self defeating. State owned, unlimited resources, two teams etc (all untrue) paints a picture that they cannot compete. They essentially believe it themselves now. Meanwhile Newcastle United just took a Top 4 place and Brighton came very close with much less spend than the red tops. Hopefully Newcastle manage to continue to take a top 4 spot. If us and Newcastle continue to take a spot that leaves 2 available each season. One of them if not more will miss out, regularly. At some point surely their fans will realise they’ve been gaslighted.
Good to see Phil the Face has found work already.Which is the Arsenal fan? It's difficult to tell.
My thoughts exactly. I'm sure they wish it just go away. They've haven't sat on this bullshit for 4 years because they believe they have a case. You don't think the Premier League actually want this shit with City, I certainly don't.
The lobbying from a powerful collection of clubs who want their ball back and using their 'status' to put the executive between a rock and a hard place.
He aspires to be as popular.Well he has to do something to deflect from being the Swales of the south.
The likes of Delaney, Harris, Liew, Ronay et al come across a hating football.
Failed writers/journalists that were clearly not good enough for bigger investigative stories, or due to some office misdemeanor were banished to the football desk.
A Slough House for journalists, at first they thought it was an easy if boring gig, but a silver lining was reporting on the boyhood teams they 'followed' when winning all the time. Then we came along and they have proved why they are the 'Slow Horses' of journalism.
Lots of positive stories in the mail today, is the tide turning
