Completely agree. The media HATE us. They've done their best to create an asterisk against our achievements through speculation and myth peddling. There is a relentless wave of negativity in the reporting on City, there is no balance or objectivity, just opinions dressed up as fact.

It's extremely frustrating, but I try to ignore the noise. These are incredible times to be a City fan and they won't last forever, so we've got to enjoy every second. Fuck the begrudgers.
The media don't hate us at all. They probably love us.

Why? Because the media make money out of us. You think all this bile would be written if there wasn't a market for it?

You are absolutely right that there is a relentless wave of negativity. That is because that is what brings in all those clicks.

If you want to understand how the media works in the digital age, imagine the people viewing the on-line media are in fact voyeurs of porn. We are the most gorgeous pornstar, therefore we get the most clicks. Except people aren't clicking to see pretty cheesy pictures of us smiling and being nice to cats. They want to see us being dirty, and that's what the media gives them.

No money in 'City play gorgeous football.'

Plenty of money in 'City are cheats.'

Saw 7 different quotes yesterday re: Erling Haaland and Luton Town yesterday
.e.g. Multi millionaire stars such as Man Citys Erling Haaland will make their way through to the tiny dressing rooms via a potholed car park and a door under a concrete bridge. ( Grant Rollings)

Kenilworth Road is a real throwback to the 1980s. It would be fascinating to see Erling Haaland and the rest of the prem superstars rocking up there next season.

No wonder the Luton chairman made a comment about it last night.

Why Haaland had to be mentioned is beyond me.
If anyone couldn't give a toss about changing rooms then its big Earl, he has seen his fair share of small basic grounds in his time .

He's mentioned, because he's the biggest name by far in the PL :)
