These media twats have thrown the rags a straw to clutch at with the FA allegations. By repeatedly prefacing every article about City with reference to these spurious charges they have become 'the truth' in the warped rag view of football where they are the biggest club in the world and always will be because they loved as the biggest club in the world.
I used to work with a rag who repeatedly told us all they filled grounds everywhere because everyone loved them. His workmates supported teams as diverse as Swindon, Blackburn, West Ham, as well as City and a few others. His raggy face when he eventually realise everyone was laughing at him was a picture.

I've just listened to an OTB podcast that was outraged over a British media company cheerleading for an English club in the cl final. I'm not sure what exactly gives an Irish media outlet the right to criticise bt because they didn't spend all night banging on about alleged offences because I'm pretty sure it's not what most people tuned in for. I can imagine the hypocritical outrage if anyone in the British media made those sort of comments over anything to do with Irish football.
I can only agree.
I taped the game on RTE (because I don't have facility to tape BT) and watched it back on the Sunday morning.
Arsenal employee, Liam Brady peddled all the leaked narrative about City supposedly obfuscating and (gasp!) having the temerity to employ lawyers etc ("they wouldn’t have been fined £10m if they were innocent"). He got through more than enough for three channels. He really behaved like a spoiled brat sneering shit of the lowest order.
Even if the other pundits (Richie Sadlier and Shay Given) were somewhat tempering the bile he was spouting with more reasoned argument ("wait and see" etc.), it was a really nasty and unbalanced look for RTE - and all before a ball had even been kicked on the night.

And OTB are even more vile than that. Never any attempt at balance from that shower. A redtop fanzine and nothing more.

They have a Rag and Dipper fanbase in Ireland to pamper To.

ITK’s often have been told something in good faith. Players change their mind. I was told by someone very prominent in the game that Hazard was a done deal. Everything agreed till he and Mancini butter heads over the position he would be played.

I think us crushing Madrid lead them to act in desperation, they may well have blown our deal out of the water. Make no mistakes about it, that 4-0 crushing changed the landscape of European football.
Hazard was on course to join City in 2012 as City had just won the PL title but when Chelsea won the CL a few weeks later he changed his mind and joined them instead. Bandwagon jumping at its finest.

Fair play to the guy. He always comes across in his videos as pretty decent bloke, who doesn't mind giving his club some serious grief. Compare him to Ty on AFTV!

Voice of reason. Deserves a wider audience. Refreshing realism as opposed to the bleatings from those apologists for teams in red who should be more concerned about their own short comings instead of looking to scapegoat City.
