Yeah - I mean, once City had knocked out Bayern and Madrid, there was a clear path for City to win the thing.

Erm - is that because they’d got to the Final by then, knocking those teams out on the way?

Jesus fucking wept!

And this guy expects anyone with half a brain to take his barely coherent, grossly simplistic witterings about football finance and the geopolitics of the Middle East remotely seriously?
If Qataris do end up buying united, prepare for Qatar good Arabs, Abu Dhabi and Saudi bad Arabs!

I’m absolutely outraged that Jonathan Wilson had to suffer the harrowing, devastating indignity of not being recognised when trying to stick up for some two bit hack out in Istanbul.

It’s appalling that we City fans don’t treat the good people of the mainstream media with the respect their second class degrees in journalism so richly deserve, and refer to them by name when interacting with them out on the terraces!

They’re sensitive flowers, and we must respect their right to sanctimoniously, disingenuously and relentlessly provoke and denigrate our fanbase without response - for we know they are fighting the good fight.

We know they only devote their every column to wittering incessantly about how awful City are because we are the only club who warrant scrutiny. We know football club ownership and management has been a benevolent, decent and upstanding profession for over a century, and these honest brokers are simply alive to the first whiff of transgression - training their lens without prejudice on our club as they would any other which aroused suspicion.

It’s their right to provoke and attack without response, as they are the brave custodians of the soul of football - impartial moral arbiters, with a keen grasp on the financial and geopolitical complexities underpinning the modern game.

They’re here to educate us, the great unwashed, bestowing on us the gifts of their incisive insights and understanding - gifts which are sadly beyond the grasp of those of us not lucky enough to sponge three years studying football journalism at university.

So please - do your best to remember their names next time they defend one another to a bit of unsavoury chanting.

They do so abhor the indignity of being ignored!

I believe that these guys are just following the geo-political orientation of the publications they work for. Many are pro war, pro Ukraine and anti Russian. The UAE has drifted very much towards the anti war camp and if anything is becoming closer to Moscow. The head man from the Emirates is currently in St. Petersburg talking to Putin at SPIEF. This at least in part has to impact how we are treated in relation to footballing matters. I am totally unconcerned by anything muppets like this lot say water off the proverbial. However, I am somewhat concerned that geo- politics may impact upon the attempts to punish us for alleged breaches of FFP regulations.

The absolute fucking hypocrite. He had to be threatened with police and legal action over his harassment of me and a few other Blues, plus he was one of the group that complained to my then employer and tried to get me sacked.

And he's complaining about a few insults thrown at Delaney.

He got the head of the Sports Journalism Association to complain to the club about me and my position as admin on here, like they've got any sway over this. He's a fucking bellend.

I realise geo-politics isn't always as black and white as it appears, but you have to really stretch things to put Russia in the anti-war camp in Ukraine.

Here is a clip of maybe the stupidest 17 seconds in human history so you don't have to give that podcast a click. More partridge than partridge.
Fucking hell, does that guy not understand the basics of the competition or has he just committed an act of insanity just to have a pop?
