They can’t even decide what ‘sportswashing’ is, they keep shifting the definition and the narrative when facts show it to be false.
A bit like Panja alleging we are overinflating our sponsorship deals, but then writing an article complaining we are undercutting other clubs for sponsorships.

Like I've said on here previous times,you never here about sportswashing in golf,cycling,tennis etc etc when events are held and sponsored by Abu Dhabi,if they pulled out of British horse racing it would be catastrophic for Newmarket and the racing industry nothing ever gets said about them sponsoring major sporting events....what's app group are just a set of shit stirring twats and every one of them will be in Qatar eating the best food staying in the nicest hotels and nothing will get said....hypocrisy of the highest order...

They’d command at least a tiny bit of respect if the plastic cunts had chosen Rochdale or Port Vale to follow instead of the bandwagon red shirts.

And that's the beauty of it - it means nothing, but it 'sounds' like it's something illegal. Any time an opposition fan uses sportswashing as a jibe, ask them what it means. Most don't have a clue. But they all 'know' it's bad.
