The whole haaland only had so many touches was kicked into touch by Clinton Morrison yesterday on soccer Saturday when asked about him and the game he said I couldn’t care how many touches he has or anything else for that matter during a game he’s a killer in the box and knows how to finish this lad is frightening..
Although initially I used to find him a bit annoying I find Clinton Morrison pretty sound these days. There don't seem to be too many sly digs aimed at us by Mr Morrison on radio commentaries, and he seems pretty balanced in his views. Old Cilnton may not be in the Pat Nevin intellectual category (not many people are!) Not sure who he actually supports (think it's one of the North London teams?) but I just think he just seems to enjoy watching good football...even when it's us! No doubt someone will ' have a little word' with him at the BBC though as 'the views expressed are not necessarily those of the company/management' or whatever that disclaimer is?
Good point he made about our new 'super striker' too, if he touches the ball once in the game and it's the winning goal in a 1:0 victory, job done.

Clinton loves Pep. He says it would have been his dream to play for someone who could improve him so much. I find the Monday pod on bbc refreshing as if they are allowed to speak honestly without the agenda.

Will have to check that one out. As most people on here say he just want impartiality and honesty from.pundits. If we're shit we're shit (which we are still sometimes capable of being) but also a bit more acknowledgement of the brilliant football we often play.

Did you notice the twat commentator on MoTD said it was 6 in 5 games i.e. counting either the Comm Sheild or the Barca game. WTF.

They must plan the jibes they hate us that much.

On MoTD they also went on about Haaland red card and Ederson mistake/disallowed goal but did not mention the elbow on Cancelo for their second/corner which was a clear foul.

So biased.

TBF to Jenas he did back us to say wasn't a red and disallowed goal was correct.
Wasn't the commentator Peter Drury who's a big City fan?

Driving to swimming on Friday morning radio 2 sports news mentioned Euro draws for 5 British clubs guess who they missed out, only the champions of England that's who. What is wrong with these people.
Bitter, demented, and partially sighted when it comes to recognising the quality of football we play. As someone posted earlier, it can only be part of editorial policy. But where edit means to cut stuff to fit the time, they allocate so much time to the Rags 'n Dippers that they totally ignore THE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND.

Isn’t it called Super Sunday Match day where they review the games on that day and discuss the highlights from Saturday, I defo won’t be watching it tomorrow over the dipper wankathon in coming.
You’re correct pal; I was wrong @jimharri
What confused me was, the content from that show still seems to be used for the podcast which is still called the Sunday Supplement.
I still don’t think I’ll be watching/listening to this week’s show though.

Dipper on Radio 5 this morning: ".... talk about the money spent, the sports washing, the financial doping", completely unchallenged or corrected by Johnny I’Anson.

That’s the most annoying bit. Like when Red Rory Smith drops it in on the Monday night club in the middle of making a point about something else & Chapman doesn’t say anything about it and just lets it go.

Though it’s Wenger we’ve got to thank for the financial doping phrase isn’t it?

AND they managed to completely ignore the elbow in the face in the lead up to the first goal! Without doubt the biggest talking point but completely brushed over - in fact the commentator insinuated that Cancelo was faking it….
