As I said in the match thread his lads are blues, including the one at united. Or at least they were until recently. They idolised Craig Bellamy when he played for us because he was their dad’s mate who was actually good at football
Ah I didn't know that.

Tariq Panja has said many times that the most important issue in modern football is “sport washing” and has even criticised other sport “journalists” for not holding us, Newcastle, and PSG to account when having direct access to management and players.

Then he offers this shithouse excuse for not asking one single question about the subject he thinks is the most pertinent topic in football today.

As @twosips said, he is a coward. And I’ll add a charlatan.

That is unbelievable.

Fair play to the Geordies going in on the ****.

Rag central accurate as usual in their match report
Haaland's ninth goal in five games set City on their way in Spain, with the Norwegian forward tapping in from Kevin de Bruyne's superb driven cross.
Then ends with
The forward maintained his incredible start to his City career as he knocked in goals 11 and 12 from his eight appearances for the club.
Thought it was 12 in 7 ? And the 9 in 5 doesn't make sense and why are they are so obsessed with how many touches he has ?
Both his finishes were from no more than eight yards out, again underlining his capacity to operate with clinical efficiency from a limited number of touches (19),

took ferguscum 7 years to win his first league title , 13 years to win his 1st CL and I dont recall any pressure from the media at the time , the only pressure coming from the fans who wanted him sacked after 3 years

I think we are talking at slightly crossed purposes here.

Clearly the facts you quote are correct.

What I was trying; badly to say is that it is easily debatable that the pressure is on us considering our recent domestic success.

Also considering the squad we have and that in our recent history we’ve never won it.

Seems to me to be a reasonable point of debate. Now we all aren’t go to agree on it but is it a fair question to ask. I’d say so.

I really don’t give a flying fuck at a rolling donut what the GPC did at OT but loving the fact he’s still stinking it out like a 3 day old turd that won’t flush.

I'm not a big "conspiracy " person, but why would they put "Haaland's ninth goal in five games set City on their way in Spain, with the Norwegian forward tapping in from Kevin de Bruyne's superb driven cross"

Why only 5 games, why only the 9 goals ,why not the full season ,very fucking weird

Great comms tonight. Darke’s a top bloke one of my fave commentators of all time and Savage is just natural - no pre prepared shite lines, just calls it how he sees it.

In the studio they’re bigging up Erling’s incredible goals per game start, 1.5 they say. Errrr no lads glorified pre season friendlies don’t count ….. 12 goals from 7 games is 1.71 goals per game
Ian Darke was asked (just after our takeover), “what would you like to see happen this season?” His answer should have been a positive comment about his team Portsmouth but he said “Man City to be relegated”

Hmmm had it on for paper talk on sky sports news talked about Chelsea and their defeat rightly so,but no mention of our game at all,bet tomorrow morning if the red scousers or spurs have positive results they’ll be straight on talking about them, not that bothered but it shows a vast majority now where sky want to be with their coverage..( yes I know they don’t show champions league anymore but they still give the matches coverage)

Eight o’clock sport headline on BBC isn’t Chelsea’s shock defeat, nor our fine away win, it’s Celtic’s loss to Madrid. When do they ever make the headlines. Wonder if Rangers are top story tomorrow regardless of what Spuds or the wall pushers do.
