We live in a world full of nothing celebrities, but there are individuals who still genuinely stand out, game changers, people who leave their mark, where you can say there was a before them and an after them.

Pep is one of those rare individuals.
He lives his values, whereas most don't even know what values are.

Until pep put him in the left to learn he was always on the right side also midfield for our youth team! He ripped Liverpool away a new one when we stuffed them
Aye but in the Premier league his best performances have been on the left. He's looked a bit out of it on the right. Maybe It's going to take time getting used to the right again.

A Tory MP once called Boris Johnson the Pep Guardiola of politics!

Not sure what things they have in common apart from neither combs their hair.

I believe Foden's downturn in form is simply down to being played on the right. He's a left sided/middle player for me.
I believe Fodens downturn in form is imaginary and enough people talking about it. Not having a go at you though ;)

But the more people say it the more "true" it becomes.

I watched him this year and he has that buzz back. Thngs are not coming off for him but his touches and play are in the zone, like he's not even thinking about it whereas last season towards the end I thought he looked nervous or always having 2nd thoughts.

The way they go after people is outrageous. I was listening to don Godman on a podcast the other day and he talks or Graham Taylor and the way the press hounded him. Turing up in their droves at wolves who were in division 2 just so they could ridicule him if they lost.

Journalists have a fair greater sense of worth and entitlement in football than they think. The majority have their agenda and stick to it.

Plus I’m still bitter at the write up and criticism I took when I played in the 90s. Got absolutely slaughtered as a teenager.
I hate our news media for how they round on people and attack attack attack bring all the hatred out from the fans. They shape this country and its morals and its direction. I fkin hate them and everyone who works in that disgusting industry.

But thats my pov, sorry to offend, there are some good ones, but they dont get as much airtime as the haters, the ones who shit stir the loudest, they get the airtime, and I wish decent reporters would call them out. Argh, I am banging on.

He’s top quality and reading posters saying he’s likely to miss out in the starting 11 at the WC is mental to me.

People in general consume the media that supports their overall narrative, that applies to politics sport etc.

One of the scariest things you can hear someone say is "Never believe what you read" when what they really mean is "Believe what I read".

Bang on my friend.
Some of the stuff that gets thrown the way of city is just shocking.

Just report on the game. Report transfer dealings and that’s it. We don’t need your “expert” opinion just report the facts. Not hard to do is it.

Every time I read an article on city or Haaland I’m waiting for the dig subtle or not. Gets tedious after a while.

I’ve not read a lot about last night but I hope pope doesn’t get too much crap. He made a mistake. Keepers make mistakes. No need to go overboard on him or get personal.

A responsible media should report objectively. If they push a point of view on any issue then they should be prepared to back it with reasoned factual arguments. As many posters have said, clickbait seems to be all that matters. The coverage of City and FFP, and the failure or refusal to accept or understand the CAS findings, which are available in black and white for all to see, along with the craven sycophancy towards the so called history clubs speaks volumes as to the total lack of any sense of responsibility.

Was he not on the right v Wolves, seemed to remember him back heeling KDB in for the assist.

He has played many fine games out right, Liverpool away when he scored that belter is one that springs to mind.
