Just read a good article on Palmer in the DM ( I know it popped up on my phone ! )

Looked at the comments section and the first one is from a neanderthal. These people shouldnt follow football.

Tony the ex Cockney red , ex para, now Millwall Walter Mitty who took the Kippax in the 80’s and loved them taking the North stand in the 5-1. All over city articles and never ever moderated. The one I said the other day I wouldn’t be surprised if he was actually a collection of bandwagon glory hunting nerdy prick journos on the wind up.

Rushden and Dick pick still ranting about us and Newcastle whilst sucking Klopp cock.

I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one to see right through this bullshit article. Distancing themselves from blaming Mansour, but still putting his name to their allegations. Easiest job in the world working as a journalist for the guardian.

However, they added: “For the avoidance of doubt, we do not positively aver that Sheikh Mansour has undertaken any such conduct which may bring him within the scope of the UK sanctions regime”.
That line, probably put in by the lawyers, kills the entire story. It was buried towards the end of the article. This article is about as dishonest as it gets and should never have been published. It shows the depths to which journalism has sunk in the UK. You really can't trust what is written in the tabloids or the broadsheets these days.

Oliver Holt has moved on from playing City Bingo. The floppy haired c*nt is now playing City Monopoly.

Oliver Holt is nothing but a paid shill for Liverpool FC. Claims he's a Stockport fan...
He really is an arrogant, self opinionated narcissist who needs to be banned from the Etihad.
One day I'm going to 'Milkshake' this **** as he enters our stadium...

Why are you pretending it would involve releasing financial details?

A simple denial is enough, but how do you think every newspaper knows what transfer fees are? The club lets out news about contracts and fees all the time off the record.
Apparently the Haaland "salary" claims came from agents' rumours and are not true. I don't believe City leak contract details "all the time" though it is possible it has happened on occasions in the past when the club used to be run by cowboys ie the Swales era. The £850,000 a week figure has been repeated by the press pack because that is how they operate to cover their backs. The more a lie is repeated the more true it becomes in the public eye.

We would all like to see some of the journalists/reporters banned for their dis-information in their articles , but i believe the club are taking the softly softly approach because if we go to war with the media it will not end up well , they will escalate the hate campaign to previous unseen levels.
Be nice to them , welcome them , smile at them and feed them , because this surely must annoy the media even more , we act like we couldnt give a f*ck what they write.
Not what our supporters want to hear , a few of us would like to wait outside and give the c*nts what for , but we will have the last laugh , we win trophies and no matter what they spew out in their media outlets , they wont f*cking stop us.
I don't think anyone wants to 'go to war' with the media. However, I for one just wish the club would throw down a marker every now and then and ban the worst culprits if only for a few weeks. The agenda and narrative this week during the build up to the game today has been completely unacceptable. No other football club in the world gets treated by the media in the way we do - none and we just seem to sit back and suck it up. Just every now and then let them know they have to far and we are not having it. That's all.
