Who the fuck cares about what Ratboy thinks enough to purchase a book!?!

See enough of his shite via Sky to know it will be based on bollocks with him talking from the side of his mouth once he knows which way the wind is blowing.

Why can't people see him for what he is.........?

Capitalists have been making money out of 'the people's game' for a good 125 years.

The idea that it was all some sort of socialist cooperative up until last week is laughable. All that's changed is the size of the potential profits. So you don't get tinpot TV shop owners as chairmen of PL clubs anymore.

It will be nothing more than his pitch to be appointed the ‘independent regulator’

He's a sycophant rag ****.

Am I on the right page?

Though it is also funny to see the hairy nonce disparage him, a new low for the rat faced twat.

true but the people's game does exist in other places than the premier league, a place where local businessmen still own the local club.

Doubt there is much profit in it for 95% of them.

Yes, but in those cases, they do it for the status. It's like having a yacht, or 27 Bentleys, or whatever. It's still a big thing to be Chairman of Rotherham, or whatever, at least locally. And you probably get a ticket for the FA Cup Final. You might, at best, find some guy who has made good big time, loves his local club, and owns it in the same way some others do a massive model railway or a traction engine. But you will also find spivs like the one who owned a certain local club, working some cute angle and hoping to make money somehow, maybe by closing it down and selling the assets.

You have to go down to the level of Prestwich Heys or Abbey Hey to find clubs that are really 'community clubs'. You couldn't conceivably run City (or United, or Liverpool, or Arsenal) on that basis, and it's delusional to pretend you could.

It's the false romanticism that I find risible. This oh-so-common delusion that in a past golden age (usually about 1955) everything was fucking wonderful. It wasn't. And even if it was, the world has changed utterly.

Fuckin state of sky sports news.
Yellow ticker tape for transfer news is all about the rags.

Bless em trying to keep the red mardarses relevant.

Are they buying anyone of note?

Is fake-tan staying or is he leaving because ten bob wont allow him to pick the team with him?

'The People's Game' was hijacked big time on Merseyside when arch Tory and rapacious landlord John Houlding tried to stitch up Everton who told him to fuck off and walked out of Anfield leaving him with a ground but no team. He then founded Liverpool, gave them a free stadium, bought shed loads of players on high wages and poached multiple title winning Sunderland manager Tom Watson with the offer of the highest wage for a football club manager.

If ever there was an artificial plastic club it's the dippers. Yet the deluded cult members like to think they're a socialist club.

Ironically, he is getting hammered on Twitter as well.
And I'd like to know why he thinks City have shit songs? Personally I think we have a great range of great songs and the Yaya Kolo song was an all time classic which I don't think any other set of fans will better.
And the Belgium fans sing the Kevin De Bruyne song.
So shove it Aldridge you candle in the wind,we have great songs.

The bloke is actually ill isn't he..

He's obsessed with us , we are his nemesis and have prevented the best Dipper team for 30 years from mopping up trophies , the last he thinks of at night and the first thing he thinks of in the morning MCFC.
Can you really take any **** with any amount of seriousness who stated that the Dipshits would not miss Raheem because they had Jordan Ibe , he's a washed up, pissed up scouse clown

Don’t understand why people keep posting his rambling shite he’s a fucking irrelevant prick..

The penny has just dropped. Sly Sports News in Eire, which is the same Sly Sports News over here. Hence the endless United and Liverpool content. Keeps the plastic United and Liverpool support in Eire watching, and the Irish advertising revenues coming in for Sky. (Sports)

Sly Sports News and Sly Sports Football will never be fair and balanched. It will always be pitched towards United and Liverpool, and to a lesser extent Arsenal (still) and Chelsea. As for City, they can't ignore City completely.
