If it wasn't for City, Klopp and Liverpool would have won a monopoly of trophies including 4 PL titles. Would Oliver Holt and his red shirts journo mates be compalining about that? Not a chance! They would have loved it.

Starnge that Klopp didn't mention it. Nor did any of the reporters asking him anout it.

RedBird Capital Partners has bought a stake in Fenway Sports Group for about $735m (£533m), Liverpool’s owners have confirmed.

FSG has been in negotiations with RedBird, a private investment firm, for several months as it sought investment to cushion the financial impact of the pandemic, which is understood to have cost Liverpool £120m in lost revenue over the past year. That figure is set to increase and the deal with RedBird, which will become the third-biggest partner in FSG, will enable Liverpool to continue with plans to redevelop the Anfield Road stand and invest in player recruitment at pre-pandemic levels.
 
Everyone else can't all be wrong, I think we need to take our blue tinted glasses off and join the sheep as its obvious they are all correct :-)
 
Very simplistically would we receive all this negative press if we were not winning trophies every year.

In some ways we are letting them win because in their small minds upsetting the fans is the only way they can achieve some satisfaction because all their other attempts such as FFP, personal attacks on our owners and even futile attempts to influence referees - Neville with his pathetic Fernandinho professional foul comments have had zero affect on our trophy haul.

They are all hurting a lot more than we are !!

The Rags won multiple Premier leagues , absolutely dominating and all they could do was blow smoke up Baconfaces arse , you also didnt here the Premier league whining it was "bad for the brand" they lapped it up as the money kept rolling in , hypocrites.
 
The DT this morning includes an article which has 'Arteta' and 'genius' in the same sentence. Funny how, in all the seasons he was at The Etihad he was just an assistant coach. And Guardiola gets a mention in a headline that coins the term Pep-ball, but I detect a certain element of disdain, even though they point to several other PL coaches adopting the same approach. I don't read these articles, so I could be barking up the wrong privet bush.

Burnley now top as well - guess we'll have the blame for that, so Pep influence top of the premier and championship.
 
Clear and Organised

The clear and organised `story` initially planned by LFC with favoured Merseyside `journalists` the day before Liverpool`s biggest match of the season, was designed to deflect attention away, stir up the crowd and protect Klopp`s own position.

It is another irresponsible, contrived article.Once again Klopp pretended not to recognise that LFC have more resources at their disposal than the vast majority of clubs yet those behind them rarely bleat, whine and make excuses like this hypocrite.

Klopp`s irresponsible behaviour encouraged fans to travel to Paris without tickets and agitated supporters to `welcome` the City team coach.

This `planted` question and answer session was so transparent and one-sided. Arsenal and Spurs are at the top of the league. Liverpool are 10th and it is their.fault they have dropped points to teams with far less resources. That`s the real story.

Sorry to read of your anxiety, mate. It's fully understandable and I hope you manage to control it somehow. Last winter, I was on a determined kick to live healthily, which has largely gone by the board as I self-medicate to a degree but that can't be a long-term solution.

I'm at least safe. Life here is continuing relatively normally, though rising prices and an absence of imported goods are quite evident. I can see an effect on my own work and standard of living, too, but not really severe as yet. But I suppose I'm lucky not to be in the war zone.

To take this post back on topic, there's an absolute disconnect between what I see about events on Russian state TV and on other media outlets to which I have access. Miggsy and his mates are strikingly similar to the propagandists in both approach and ethics.

Just seen Owen Slot from times claim Guardiola isn’t in his top three coaches in the world. Tremendous how he’s failed to acknowledge a single individual changing the entire approach to football in this country. So much so that rules around goal kicks were changed, every team in the country has tried to adopt a new style of play and the achievements of the man in question have just been dismissed out of hand.
