So much for the written press, but ITV were full of praise for Foden last night. Keane and Neville were leading the way, followed by Wright, and with Pougatch feeding the debate. If they were to be asked who England's most important players were, I'm sure they would all have said Foden / Bellingham.

Edit. Wright might have put Saka up there with them.
Saka is probably still covered in Lee Dixon's jizz.
Or was that Seaman's adopted pussies

Phil was key in all 3 goals yesterday.
1st tme backheel flick to break the press and turn around their back 4 for the first.
1st time pass and assist behind Koulibally to Kane to enable a 1st time shot.
Retrieved a sloppy Bellingham pass which was half cut out, body swerved away from a desperate challenge and slipped it through Kouliballys legs this time for an assist as a Saka tap in.
Without him we don't create any of those goals yesterday.
Just watched a Sky montage of the victory and build up to all goals. They failed to even mention Phils name once in the commentary whilst blowing smoke up Bellinghams and Sara's arses. That was deliberate in my opinion. Make of it what you will.
Fully agree. But I think that much maligned man in the waistcoat knows how important Phil is and expect him to start all remaining games. Phil could win England the Cup.
