Great pluralisation there, mate!
You've got it wrong, it was Jack in goal and Eddy up front.View attachment 69025
seriously now how do bbc generate these formations? grealish up front, mahrez on the left and bernardo as attacking inside right
Well I for one am glad you pointed out the ‘pluralisation’ GDM was referring to, otherwise I’d have been here all friggin day ;-).Thanks. I originally had the sentence structured so I used the singular (i.e. 'MGS was an alma mater of mine, as was CU'). I decided to rework it to use the Latin plural to be self-consciously pretentious, to tie in with my mock lament about the decline in standards at both the named institutions.
Crafton's likely not to have done Latin at MGS as I understand it's stopped being compulsory quite a while ago, but I did it to O Level (grade A, 1984). :)
Along with our endless supply of 50m left backsBut as we have the biggest squad in the league it should be no issue fielding a fresh 11 for said game midweek - do keep up..............
Childish in the extreme but they have a history of doing that to us, shame on the Anti Irish Sky spurts, turning the Micks ofThe thing that's annoying me today is that sky had clearly turned the micks of in front of the south stand and the rest were down low.
It sounded like a library at times but you could very faintly here City songs. The fact it was so faint proved it was turn off or down low.
Truly pathetic by sky.

Hmmm. Game management I've seen, where we get a solid lead and then snuff out the opposition so well that they tend to pretty much give up.
Yesterday, it was an easy win, but we eased off, and Villa scored, then doubled their shot count in the last ten minutes, which included hitting the bar.
Pep apparently happier with the second half than the first.Yep,we allowed them opportunity and it could have back fired.
Management that is not.

I think after the initial bitter giddyness last week a lot of the media have calmed down and been more balanced/quiet - maybe our oft useless pr and legal depts have actually done something.Unpopular opinion
I don't find Sam Lee bitter towards us and enjoy listening to him talk about City.
He seems to say daft stuff like that.

If I was being pedantic, then you could have italicised almae matres, but I’m not one to split hairs…Thanks. He does it on purpose to throw the press I suppose. I bet he lets the players know how he really feels.

I Agree. That press conference shocked a lot of them. They were thinking that Pep might jack it in and he comes out all guns blazing. I still think its more than poor when Pep has to do it himself at a press conference before a game. Not a peep from anyone else at the club. I'm aware you have to be very careful what you say about these things but surely we shouldn't be relying solely on the manager of the team to fight our corner in these times?I genuinely think it’s because Pep said so much mate regarding our innocence, what happens about damages etc if we are innocent? Him saying he has seen the evidence and is fully behind the club has stemmed the giddiness imo
