Manchester United are closing on a deal for AS Roma defender Mehdi Benatia.

Sky Italia says Benatia is expected in England today for talks with United and to finalise a move to Old Trafford.

United will cough up €30 million to sign the Morocco international.

Roma director of sport Walter Sabatini is in London this weekend for talks with several different clubs.
