Much needed win. After 1 point out of a possible 9 it's good to get a win. The first half was fairly pedestrian and we played with little intensity or urgency got hit on a counter and we we were wasteful infront of goal.

Second half much better and the group lifted their work rate and actually looked like they wanted a win. To score 4 second half goals is also a great achievement. All that in the context of us playing the bottom team.

Got the nix away this Friday and they have improved recently. Will be a weird time with a 5:30 Melbourne time ko.

Not sure if this is the end of our mini slump and the start of a few good results or just a good win against a weak team followed by a loss.

Whatever, just need to win to stay in touch with still the hope of a top 2 finish.

Also I haven't really noticed before but whats with all these ads can hadly see what I'm posting really annoying.

What's the update on Novillo? Is he a wrong un' ?

Wrong un'. Not sure what that actually means. But what we know is that he has had some issues before off field that has put him trouble.
This time it's a domestic dispute with his partner. Cops were called and he was taken away in cuffs. No charges laid. He then was suspended by the club for 2 matches and fined.
Not really sure this was the best response but hopefully he can sort himself out and get back into the team. We can't afford to lose him now. Having said that if he is a moron and this is the start of an ongoing saga then they should remove him indefinitely.

We'll see.

What's the update on Novillo? Is he a wrong un' ?

Whatever happened between himself and his missus is all speculation, but it's not the best look.
He has said himself that he has been late to training 4-5 times so far this season, does that constitute as bad character?
As Hartman said, hopefully it's a bit of a wake up call of sorts and he can get back to his best again.

Conditions didn't look to suit City, I know it's the same for both sides but a better side gets brought down to a poorer sides level.

Thought they were unlucky with the ref as well.

Started watching about 20 minutes ago. Thought "there's only one side going to score here. And it isn't City". At that point we scored to illustrate how much I know about the game.
