Melbourne City FC Thread

League kicks off this weekend. Longest offseason in the world about to come to end.

We have on paper the best squad we been able to put together. Apart from Gamiero going down with an acl and Franjic heart/viral issue we have pretty much a full squad which is very strange.

We have utilized all our visa/marquee spots and all look like genuine starting players.

We have sold 9600 season tickets and might get to 12 or 13k after a few rounds.

Weather is slowly getting better so all up things are looking good (until we lose).

Got Wellington away and no international break means they are missing 4 or 5 players and us 1.

Saturday arvo all the questions will be answered and maybe a few more posed.
 
Have to fancy Melbourne to get off to a winning start in Wellington, any news on team news yet, Wellington have just signed a centre half from Perth Ryan Lowry surely as just a squad player,
 
Yes, it doesn't really take too many players from the ALeague with the main exception being Wellington, who have 4/5 NZ internationals who generally get called up. Just going to check if they are missing this weekend v City might be worth a small wager.
