largely in the shadow of melbourne victory, have just sacked their manager John Aloisi. second or third year in the league, started off well but seem to be a bit of a shambles at the moment, one win for the year.

fascinating development. kind of figured this was the direction the club was heading in (a family of clubs), but still to see it play out is amazing. where next?

Why do we always announce stuff around midnight? Is it morning in Oz now? Or are they behind? I forget.

While I've always liked Atletico Madrid a lot, we've bought a team that plays predominately in red (red shorts and everything).

Yeah it's 10:20 in the morning here in Canberra. In time for the Australian news cycle.
