Yes. For the first time ever we have retained the bulk of our squad from last season and in the current circumstances that in reality is a strengthening. What I mean by that is, the cap for this season has been reduced, something in the area of 30% and most of the teams just couldn't retain the more senior players and as a result this season will see predominantly much younger players, in our case we have a 5 or 6 younger players that normally wouldn't get much minutes but this season will and having arguably the best young talent pool we are advantaged.

My only real concern is Kisnorbo, he has had a long apprenticeship and should be we placed to flourish but you never know with a first time senior coach.

Season kicks off December 27, and having contained the virus I'm looking forward to watching live matches having several cold ones and complaining about VAR decisions.

Thanks, I really enjoy watching Melbourne in the mornings when you play.

I was expecting to see them in the AFC with being second in the League & GF runners-up...but the raggy lot were in it instead.
 
As everything is different down here, this years Asians champions League was for last seasons results.

Hopefully soon, the A League will run during the calendar year and align with all the Asian Leagues and be played predominantly in the colder months.

With the "unbundling" of the League from the FFA many big changes are likely. (I hope).

After what will be remembered as a completely buggered year we will begin our season.

We play tomorrow night 29th 7:05pm KO away to Brisbane.

The fixture has been changed due a a Covid cluster in Sydney and some games postponed.

Anyway as always ever hopeful of a win and who knows 2021 may be the year we deserve.
