Melbourne City FC Thread

12 teams in the league so that’s 22 games isn’t it?
Far too logical, I’m afraid:

‘The competition consists of 26 rounds, with each team playing every other team two or three times. The teams allotted two home matches against an opponent in one season are allotted one home match against that opponent in the following season.’

And then there’s the convoluted play offs.

Well didn’t know that !

Another draw, secured late on after being reduced to ten. Lead is now down to two points, and they’re certainly making heavy weather of it.

Playing Victory on Wednesday in the game rescheduled from December. The game starts again from the 21st minute with City winning 1-0.

Saw this was a 6am kick off - for us in the UK, but I was still snoozing away at that time so had to look the result up.
You are right, they are certainly making hard work of it. They haven't done that well against victory the last few times either. We need @heartman back to tell us what's going on.
They have missed a fair few chances and been a bit soft in defence the games I have seen.

Spot on I seem to end up missing most of the games now without his nudges.

Calling @heartman come back to us.

The transition from Kisnorbo to Vidošić has been anything but smooth; would we be if Gareth Taylor took over from Guardiola mid-season? Suspect not. Kisnorbo was averaging 2.67 points per game but that has dropped to 1.73 under Vidošić.

Not saying Kisnorbo was beyond criticism and his record at Troyes has been absolutely woeful so far: one win, four draws, and nine defeats (0.5 points per game). Going to be a tad embarrassing for the CFG if Troyes drop and Melbourne City somehow blow the A-League.

Good grief @Gabriel, Pep to Taylor? What a terrible thing to say, don't even think that. Wash your mouth out with soap right away.
I am happy for Taylor to leave the women's team though.
I do agree it would be a tad embarrassing if Melbourne and Troyes mess up.
