Far too logical, I’m afraid:12 teams in the league so that’s 22 games isn’t it?
Far too logical, I’m afraid:
‘The competition consists of 26 rounds, with each team playing every other team two or three times. The teams allotted two home matches against an opponent in one season are allotted one home match against that opponent in the following season.’
And then there’s the convoluted play offs.
Saw this was a 6am kick off - for us in the UK, but I was still snoozing away at that time so had to look the result up.Another draw, secured late on after being reduced to ten. Lead is now down to two points, and they’re certainly making heavy weather of it.
Playing Victory on Wednesday in the game rescheduled from December. The game starts again from the 21st minute with City winning 1-0.
Spot on I seem to end up missing most of the games now without his nudges.Saw this was a 6am kick off - for us in the UK, but I was still snoozing away at that time so had to look the result up.
You are right, they are certainly making hard work of it. They haven't done that well against victory the last few times either. We need @heartman back to tell us what's going on.
They have missed a fair few chances and been a bit soft in defence the games I have seen.
The transition from Kisnorbo to Vidošić has been anything but smooth; would we be if Gareth Taylor took over from Guardiola mid-season? Suspect not. Kisnorbo was averaging 2.67 points per game but that has dropped to 1.73 under Vidošić.Saw this was a 6am kick off - for us in the UK, but I was still snoozing away at that time so had to look the result up.

Good grief @Gabriel, Pep to Taylor? What a terrible thing to say, don't even think that. Not saying Kisnorbo was beyond criticism and his record at Troyes has been absolutely woeful so far: one win, four draws, and nine defeats (0.5 points per game). Going to be a tad embarrassing for the CFG if Troyes drop and Melbourne City somehow blow the A-League.
It’s an insight into how someone at the CFG thinks, so don’t shoot the messenger. In the meantime I’ll sit on the naughty step and serve my penance.Good grief @Gabriel, Pep to Taylor? What a terrible thing to say, don't even think that. Wash your mouth out with soap right away.
I am happy for Taylor to leave the women's team though.
I do agree it would be a tad embarrassing if Melbourne and Troyes mess up.
Surely there cannot be a person alive who thinks Taylor could take over from Pep?It’s an insight into how someone at the CFG thinks, so don’t shoot the messenger. In the meantime I’ll sit on the naughty step and serve my penance.
P. S. I wouldn’t mind Vieira being rehabilitated at Troyes.
I would imagine Taylor himself thinks that...Surely there cannot be a person alive who thinks Taylor could take over from Pep?
Viera to Troyes would be good, he might fancy that, unless Leicester snap him up if they don't fancy Potter now that he too is a goner.
Melbourne would be a nice job for someone, esp if you wanted a break from scrutiny in Europe for a while. If Potter went there it would be a foot in the CFG door. Anyway he won't go there. Maybe Taylor will but that's not really fair on Melbourne City.I would imagine Taylor himself thinks that...
Hadn’t realised Potter had been sacked. Maybe Melbourne should cast the net wider.
Okay where do I start.
We have 4 and 3/4 games left.
We continue the Christmas derby game 2 days before Easter, (only in Australia) at 21 minutes with us leading 1:0. This Wednesday.
The team is finding ways to drop points with regularity and the new coach seems to be lacking the right calls.
We have had several significant injuries to our strikes. Leckie hamstring 6 weeks and Maclaren broken toe but has played?
Midfield Richie Van der veene has been a big loss, we haven't really seen Berenguer either as a result our left back captain Jamieson has been shoe horned into midfield which really hasn't worked but is continued without much sense.
Defensively we have been decent but without front 6 functioning every mistake has greater consequences.
Overall I would say that Kisnorbo and the entire coaching team moving to France has been a big misjudgement and we seriously are in jeopardy of not winning the plate from a massive lead prior to the world cup.
We still have a 2 point lead, 1 game in hand but any losses now might sink us.
Welcome back and thanks for the update, I hadn't realized the about the injuries and can see those players would be a big miss. We will just have to hope there aren't any further slip ups.Okay where do I start.
