Melbourne City FC Thread

Not sure if you get any of the post match coverage. But for 30 minutes was dedicated how Victory lost the game and all the permutations on how they can squeeze into the finals.

When we have now moved 5 points clear and look like being the first team in A League history to win 3 premiers plates in a row and qualify outright for next seasons Asian Champions League.

Read something the other day about victory being bought out by that multi club American company run by a convicted coke dealer

Really don't know too much re Victory, not really keen to deep dive. What I do know they previously was supported financially heavily by a local builder/building company Metricon. The owner passed away unexpectedly. They then needed cash and found a US firm, 777 that bought a non controlling stake. I think this company have other interests in some other clubs. Thats pretty much all I know and basically want to know.

Currently drawing 0-0 against Wellington,, game 10 mins old if you are an early bird or insomniac.

Maclaren puts City one up, nice goals, they rode their luck a little as Wellington could have scored a couple. Pitch looks a mess.

It was looking a bit tight for a while as Wellington equalized just after half time. That woke City up a bit, Maclaren and Tillio replied shortly after and City now lead 3-1.
