Yes, and Mombarets his mentor is somehow involved/linked. Very interesting. CFG rarely make changes mid season especially with managers.
 
Greetings again.

A-LEAGUE is back, actually last weekend. We lost our first game of the season away to Sydney 2:1.

Looked average and probably fair result.

We have Rado Vidosic as interim, was previously women's coach. Still unsure how that will change things.

We have our Christmas derby this Saturday night, should be a decent watch if you've got nothing on.

The most interesting development is an announcement yesterday that the next 3 grand finals starting next season will be played in Sydney regardless of the finalists.

The game in this country has endured some mind numbingly idiotic decisions but this one has to go top.

And I think Melbourne City has agreed to this, i hope not, but if true it's a complete abandonment of its few loyal supporters. Just poor on many levels.

Is that a decision that’s been taken to promote the game outside of Melbourne and Victoria?

Surely City need to appoint a new coach.

Not really, there are more clubs on NSW.

I still can't get my head around the logic of the decision and the backlash has been universal.

Yep we definitely need a coach.
 
Just put this on, has the game been stopped? Apparently flares have been thrown on the pitch.
 
Game abandoned and City goalie taken to hospital after being hit in the face by a bin. Camera man hit by a flare. We will have to wait for @heartman's report.
