New league season starts tomorrow for City 07.00 KO UK time.

No idea if they can match last seasons success but, they've played 2 games in the equavilant of our CL so far and in the 12 team group are the only team to not score or have a point.

@heartman can you give us Brits some feedback on the state of the club please?

Just caught the last 2 mins of it, a good result against a really nasty raggy outfit.

They're doing well so far in the league and won in their version of the European cup last week with a goal (over the line) where var spent forever looking for a penalty to give them instead.
 
Currently playing MacArthur on discovery+ if you have nothing better to do. It was all City who went ahead with a nicely taken free kick.
As we all know one goal is never enough, MacArthur just equalised with a break away goal, first shot they had. Sound familiar?
 
Currently struggling at home against Perth Glory, 25 mins gone and 0-2 down. Two rapid breaks poor defending really but they have been second best by some distance really.

Finished 1 - 3 to Perth. Struggling in the league compared to recent seasons, already 7 points behind Aukland who have a game in hand. Looking like a play off spot at best.
 
Thing is with that league if you don’t look like winning the league they can ease of because they get in the top what is it 4/6 you go in a play of to win another type trophy for being the “Best”
 
Currently 0-0 at half time against Sydney. Some poor passing, decision making in the final third and poor control on display. Fairly evenly matched game. Sydney look quick on the break.
