If we vote for him to stay and he goes they come in with doesn't care about the supporters.

If we vote and he stays they grab the glory for organising it.

If we don't vote they say city fans ambivolent.

Exactly, we don't need petitions to keep players here, that was the sort of thing we needed to do when relegation to the third tier was a reality.
