Mendy given one year driving ban

If you asked 100 City fans who they want at left back, Mendy or Delph, most would say Delph.

That's what he needs to know. If he doesn't care, then he needs to be shipped out.
Mendy is a better player than Delph, end of. Teams are frightened to death of the ability he has going forward, Delph won't even be mentioned in any managers pre match talks.

Delph has his uses and deputised very well last year but I am getting a bit bored of how one dimensional he is, never mind the mistakes costing us goals.

People think a good-humoured bit of banter between mates is a sign that he's annoying the dressing room? Lol.

By the way, there were 2 replies between raz and ben before the "top of the league" comment, which was clearly, I thought, referring to Sterling's song.

If he’s been given permission by the club to attend the boxing then I don’t see a problem.
I think sometimes people who live mundane lives are put off by somebody who’s obviously living a dream and like to have a good whinge.
Human nature I suppose.

I am more concerned that another player has openly questioned him why he wasnt at cardiff. The message there is if you are injured but fit to go to the boxing, then you are fit enough to go to the game and support the lads...Which he chose not to do

Have a slight concern that our players might be getting a little pissed off with him
I have no problem with it and In sure it was all sanctioned. What is the point of him sitting injured on those barely covered up benches when it is absolutely pissing it down, against the shittiest team in the league and he cant be involved in any way.

He was out injured most of last season, and he spent loads of time watching matches, live and on his phone from his hospital bed (remember Southampton at home when he was on crutches?), he is extremely well liked at the club, don’t think anyone is pissed if with him; I am pissed off that he is now the target for the dicks in here who can’t survive without moaning about individual players

Why the fuck do people always have to find someone to slag off? Last week it was Gundogan, now it’s Mendy, whose turn is it next? Bickering bastards

It is slightly different; questioning a players attitude. Injuries are unlucky, speeding 4 times in a short period isn't

I certainly wouldn't question his ability, I would never criticise his performance, but I feel justified in questioning his behaviour, as I did with the balloon Ballotelli.
We are very lucky , having a core of professionals who behave impeccably, I hope Mendy learns quickly.

He's our mad cnut, hopefully he can get a run of games and stay injury free.
Can imagine what we'd all be saying if he was a rag though

True....not having a pop at him myself. I rate mendy and we miss his energy down the flank. Just quoting on that supposed sterling post that seemed to be aimed at his non attendance

That post though could have been in jest though
