Mendy given one year driving ban

he's injured you melon
And you think I didn’t know that?

Been here 1 year plus, played small handful of games. He puts in a mean whipped cross. I get it.

Is it too much to ask in 2018 for a player to knuckle down and make a name for himself from the field? I don’t expect him to perform on the field when he is injured, but remember the days when a player who was injured wasn’t seen swanning about everywhere else while he was? That’s all.

How many assists does he have so far? he can't perform when he is injured
Don’t want to get sideways with you, as I know I’m already on your shit list for thinking Raz can improve the technical aspects of his game and stop getting flustered in front of goal, but I would like him to GET KNOWN (caps just for you ;-) ) for his performances on the pitch MORE than the “performances” off it.

Old fashioned, I know, but for £10M a year, doesn’t seem like too much to ask, does it?!

Great to see your attempt at an insult...

When you are dead, you don't know you are dead. It is only a problem for others.

It's the same when you are stupid.
Well coming from someone praising Mendy for taking “the points on behalf of someone else”, that last sentence is rather ironic.

I suspect you haven't read my carefully chosen words properly.

No praise from me at all.

Just another possible version of events.

I doubt anyone wants to read about us slagging each other off so I will now stop.

Obviously you can feel free to carry on as you please... ;-).

If you asked 100 City fans who they want at left back, Mendy or Delph, most would say Delph.

That's what he needs to know. If he doesn't care, then he needs to be shipped out.

Sterling replied to this on Insta asking why he wasn't in Cardiff. To which he replied "because you are top of the league" ...which we aren't

He's starting to bore me now.

I am more concerned that another player has openly questioned him why he wasnt at cardiff. The message there is if you are injured but fit to go to the boxing, then you are fit enough to go to the game and support the lads...Which he chose not to do

Have a slight concern that our players might be getting a little pissed off with him

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Vinny in the past and others always there supporting the lads when injured. I think Sterling’s comment was telling and actually refreshing to see.

Pep won't tolerate anyone upsetting the team spirit or becoming a Billy big bollocks he has shipped out bigger names than Mendy in the past.

The thread is about driving offences but Bluemoon wants to turn it into a character assassination, followed up by ridiculous suggestions that Delph is a better left back. "Yer da" comments about his social media stuff. Give me strength.

Rewind back to All Or Nothing. The absolute no. 1 target for that position. Txiki got him. Injured early but early signs were great. World Cup came too close to recovery but he's slowly starting to come back to his best form.

His record. 11 games. 5 assists. 66 crosses. Still not lost a game in the league.
Delph last season: 22 games, 2 assists, 13 crosses. Lost 1 league game.

Our forwards get nothing from Delph. He's honest, hardworking and does nothing Milner doesn't. Good back up squad player. Take CL v Lyon. Woeful and one dimensional.

Let's not ignore a few of you know Sane plays less left side when Mendy plays. That's not his problem either. Sane a better goalscorer and player but there's a different dynamic when Mendy plays. Crossing. Mendy averages 6 crosses a game. In 32 games that's 192 crosses for the forwards. Sane recorded 93 in 32 last season. An extra 100 crosses for Aguero Sterling Jesus Mahrez and Bernardo to attack. Delph would have put 19 crosses in across the same period.

Sane can play as well as Mendy. But the point In making is Delph offers little.
