If Pep’s having a little go at him via an interview for us all to see, just imagine what the telling off will be like in Pep’s office this morning.

Mendy’s passing accuracy in the four games he played last season was 85.6%

He was giving balls away for fun yesterday. Simple five yard passes going six yards the wrong way to Arsenal men. Three aimless hoofs up field to nobody for no reason. That’s not our standard.

Kev’s Passing accuracy was 82.8% last season.

2 assists from Mendy yesterday, he can post whatever he wants if he's going to do that every week.

Pep made a little joke about his social media, having dedicated quite a lot of airtime in the past to how much he loves Mendy's character and how it has been a great thing for the squad and helped bring the dressing room together.

This is a coach who is so keen on the dressing room relaxing and bonding that he's set up a paddle board court in the training ground for them to play each other, and you think he's grumpy at Mendy being the joker in the dressing room who entertains everyone? Unlikely.
