Messi trial.

Maybe. But then everytime rumors of Messi leaving Barcelona have come up, they've been of him going to an Adidas sponsored club. And there are only a small number of such clubs who could afford his transfer fee and his wages. United and Chelsea happen to be those clubs in the Premier League.
I'm just guessing based on what I've seen so far; could very well be wrong though. He could go to Chelsea or not come to England at all or not even move out of Barcelona in the first place!

One of the funniest posts I've ever read on here.

The one before was pretty good, too. The one where he leaves Barcelona to avoid jail, but then comes to the UK. The short arm of Spanish law.

I doubt he will go anywhere near a jail in all honesty.

Apart from the rumours about him going to us and PSG of course. But then they don't fit in with your point.

That's the one I meant to quote!

Have you ever noticed that whenever there's a potential big transfer, armchair fans always say 'he will only be allowed to go to a Nike/Adidas sponsored club'. I'm pretty sure that in reality that has never ever happens once in world football.
