Hit the hail on the head there, Messi is already of the games best ever players, he didn't seem to be trying yesterday and he still scored four! And all the money in the World wouldn't prize him away from Barca. Hearing him speak in this interview before the Arsenal game he seems like a level headed bloke as well, unlike that arrogant pr*ck Ronaldo, and that makes him an even better player.

That said we haven't done too badly with Tevez, who is better than most strikers around at the moment!

Carlos has certainly proved he is worth the £25m we paid for him, despite what a certain sour-faced, purple-nosed Scotsman said.

Value-for-money, I would say he is better than Messi at £100m.

This is probably the most goals hes ever scored in one season, one season does not equate two 25m pounds, only if he does it consistently for 3-4 years will he be worth the money....

From a monetary point of view, I'd rather spend the money on Messi.

Be interesting to see how they link up in the Argentinian squad during WC this summer. Sorry if posted already but no way will we get him for 100m Barca have a 200m release clause.
