Just had a snow/ice storm come through here, as well.

Apparently caused the internet outage we experienced for 6 or so hours yesterday, which was across all Spectrum customers, impacting large parts of the US, including decent portions (or the entirety, in the case of the areas where they’ve been allowed a monopoly) of New England, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, LA, and San Francisco.

Quite a few without electricity right now, as well, due to the ice accumulation.

Luckily it’s actually fairly nice outside now so we can dig the cars out and the city can safely plow the streets.

-6c here, -15c with windchill.

Dog wasn’t having any of it this morning even with his coat on and the wax on his paws to stop the incredible amounts of salt on the walkways and roads (ice storm last night) from getting stuck in. To be fair, when your piss Is freezing almost instantly, it’s usually a good indication you shouldn’t be outside.
