Similar objects have been found before, but no-one knows their use, says a historian.

That Langham is close to where my dad goes detecting every year for a few nights with some of his mates at Binham.
He would be over the moon to find something Anglo Saxon like that.

I have some Roman black burnished ware, only a sherd that I found on a walk to pick up some obsidian, I keep it on my telly table in a glass jar.

I have just purchased a couple of George III pennies from the 1700's, I know I haven't dug them up but I was in a field in spirit when royal mail delivered them.

Next time stand outside when you open the parcel. Better yet, maybe go to a park or field and throw them as far as you can into the grass. You can crawl about on your hands and knees hoping to find them again.
