Metrolink - Again

I won't be renewing my tram seasoncard for next season, no chance.
The service has been unreliable and as others have mentioned, working on the line at times such as city matches is unacceptable.

Tram was packed before, at stadium now though so I suppose it does work lol.

Absolutely pathetic.
We've ended up missing it because of them. Waited half an hour, and we were gonna get a taxi. But it was 5 minutes until kick off.
So decided to just fuck it off.

Thanks metrolink.

@MCRMetrolink: omorrow Manchester City vs Southampton at the Etihad Campus with K/O at 12:45. Services are expected to busier than usual.

What I don't understand about the Metrolink is why the trams go so fucking slow. I don't use them much but I got one to town on Friday from Didsbury. It was so slow that I used an app on my phone to see how fast it was going. It managed to average 15mph with a top speed of 27. It took half an hour to get to Shudehill. What's the point of spending 100s of millions of pounds on a rapid transit system that goes slower than a bus in the rush hour.

I warned everybody about 14 months ago when it first opened to Droylsden, its fuckin slow, its unreliable and they don't give a fuck, metro to the swamp oh yeah we will run that fast and regular, bunch of twats

It does seem a bit absurd to do maintenance on a day when City are at home. Surely they could plan it better.

They obviously do not liaise with the train providers as the Northern rail train from Chester was nearly full when it got to Navigation Road. We had to force ourselves on to the single unit or else probably miss the game.

I don't think the club do enough to help they should sit down with the Metrolink management and get the match day service sorted out.
