Metrolink users

Just had an update email from Metrolink -
They are offering free Metrolink Tram travel for all NHS and other care staff, commencing Sat. 11th April.
My wife is a night carer at a private residential care home and recently has had to get the tram from Newton Heath to Hollinwood (and return in the morning).
So fair do's to Metrolink, they didn't have to offer free travel, but they have done and I say well done to them. Thanks.
Ditto. Must have ID badge on you and a printed or downloaded voucher, voucher came with email probably , only too and from work

If you use the canal route don’t follow it all the way to ground from town as it goes everywhere !
Get of it where there’s a road bridge over it and walk from there.

There are TWO canals quite close together near Piccadilly Station. One follows Oldham Road out to Failsworth the other goes out to Ashton Under Lyne and runs in a STRAIGHT line passing within 50 metres of the Stadium.
When you get within seeing distance of the ground and you think your there, it then seems to go into a never ending semi circle.
When it’s a hot autumn day, it’s not what you want

Advance warning that there is no Altrincham metrolink service on Sunday 28th November for the West Ham game. Joy of joys

4 weeks before Xmas and Met pull this shit and once again when a City home game is scheduled. Never mind Xmas markets, shopping, etc.

And yet Burnham wants us to dump the car and use public transport, why would you with a shambles that is the Met.

Yes its shambolic, add on Sunday services on other forms of transport, Christmas markets, extra shopper's etcetera and its pure misery. Seat on ticket exchange i think .
