I love how you get dumped at Abraham Moss with apparently no replacement bus service.

(For anyone using this line today, the 53 bus goes from here to the stadium every 30mins).

Between the council, City (and United tbf), the public transport operators, police etc, do NONE OF THESE TWATS ever speak to each other?!
 
Please start a new thread for a new season with this, or at least tell us what page the update is on… or better still have individual match travel threads so they’re easy to keep up with.

Didn’t see the date on Paul’s OP and thought there was something up with the Alty line then.
 
When I was a lad there was a trolleybus from Stevenson Square to Edge Lane every 2 and a half minutes. This was on top of the motor bus service, which included Mayne's competitive bus service. We could do with bringing that level of service frequency back. Let's be honest - public transport to the Etihad is shite. When we were at Maine Road we had a choice of Princess Road, Lloyd Street and Wilmslow Road, all with tons of buses.

Left the South stand second tier when extra time was announced. Made my way to the Metrolink and straight through the barriers on to the platform. Had a wait of about ten minutes then an empty double tram labelled “Football Special” arrived which went straight to Piccadilly without stopping. It arrived on the platform for going to Ashton which was a bit weird as we all had to cram on to a stairway up to the Main Line station before crossing back to the correct platform. The tram to Altrincham arrived almost immediately and after collecting my car at Navigation road and a kebab from Timperley village I was back home by 6:00pm.

Deep joy and almost a miracle in my books.

I did try a new thread but it recommended atraching to this one
