Flying out on Friday for two weeks, approx 1 hour away from Cancun airport on that coast line.

The epicenter was in Puebla which is about 750 miles from Cancun. According to this https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/distances.html?n=302
that is about the equivalent of the distance between eg Manchester and Milan. So if there was an earthquake in Milan, would it be safe for someone to travel to Manchester?

I`m discussing the probability of more earthquakes in Mexico my friend.This will be our first time there and seriously looking forward to some,sea,sand,beers and snorkelling.
I noticed from the weather reports for Puerto Aventuras for the next 10 days, that its sunny but everyday has thunderstorms,so do I assume that we`re not coming into the best time of the year for continual sunbathing. ;)
