Both these teams are wank today and were both wank at recent tournaments from what I can remember.

There should be a rule that any teams that can't play remotely entertaining football can't go to the next World Cup.

Winning the Copa Libatadores is huge, but only one team from that region wins that a year.

If the penalty was given for the shirt pull then there is no attempt to paly the ball so surely given that he was 10 yards out with no other defender nearby he has denied a GSO and should have been sent off.

Yer can pull a shirt with yer hand and still make a genuine effort, as a sort of insurance policy, to get the ball with yer leg. But there were about three or four possibilities for giving Mexico a free or Poland a pen. Once upon a time the LotG were pretty black 'n white. Now, after incessant, season on season, and often mid-season tinkering, yer get the LotG as a mirror image of whatever colour the River Irk was during any week in the 50s as it passed through ICI.
