Micah - an apology

Huge credit has to go to Mancini here for turning him into what we are seeing at the moment as a half decent full back. I still think he is more of an athlete than a footballer and still would take a Alves or a right footed Evra, Ashley Cole, Marcelo ect than him but for the time being he is impressing me and long may it continue.

I don't think it is any coincidence either that he looks alot leaner which in turn makes him more mobile.

I have been a constant critic, a lot of criticism has been aimed your way from me in recent seasons.

It's certainly a long time since you came on as a sub, shouting the odds in that Far East tour, and I thought to myself, 'We might have a player here.'

There were glimpses, we know the games.

The football intelligence to go with your frame, I shall remain one of your biggest sceptics in that score.

But when you have that physical power, added to what I'm convinced, is an improved attitude, it can take you a very long way.

Richards appears to have responded to the criticisms and increased competition, and has been excellent for weeks.

But your belief shone through at the shithole. Keep it going, son.

And welcome back, you might just covert a few more of us.

So the hole in your arse has healed, Tolm.

I look forward to future apologies to SWP and Lescott ;-)

Micah continued to say he had not increased in weight, but he defo looks leaner, less developed.

In terms of being an athlete, maybe that is the way the full-back position is going?

Alves, Marcelo, Cole, Bale (when played there), our own Kolarov, to lesser extent, even Glen Johnson, all suspect defensively, but great going forward.

There is only Leighton Baines at the moment who I believe can do both jobs to a very high level and someone we should defo have eye on.

On Lescott, aint ever gonna happen!

Perhaps the most uncomfortable centre-half on the ball, I have ever seen.

Have you sent him a man to man Valentines Day card?

When i talk about athlete i mean all they have to their game is pace and power. The names you mentioned there are all good techincally on the ball, imagine they were playing a game of futsal, they would all look comfortable, where as IMO Micah would look horribly out of place.

Micah went to Brazilian soccer schools as a kid, you know!

See Stoke away!

I will have to disagree on Glen Johnson, touch of a rapist.

Wing-back. Always has been. Doesn't have the personality for true right back. Defending is a means to an end for him, not the end in itself.

He just needs to be told THAT is what is expected of him. Job is to control the entire right flank. Own it. He's got the engine, inclination is to attack.
