Micah - an apology

The thing I love about Richards, is he is starting to seem like one of not that many players at the club that genuinely care. His sticking himself on the line time and time again. Perhaps the likes of Kompany, Nige and Zabaleta sat him down and had a word!

Delighted to see how well Micah played but remember he has had games like this before where he looked "back to his best" and then suddenly wasn't a game or two later. I hope this time it is permanent as he is on a good run.

Credit where its due, Micah's finding the form we all envisaged he would when he burst on the scene. Hard to imagine he's still only 22, but he's now maturing so much as a player. As mentioned above, I think Vieira has had a hand in that, with I'm sure more than a few words of wisdom from Bobby. He's always been a great athlete, but now his technique and decision making are impressive too. Capello can't ignore him for too long, I'd take him above Glenn Johnson any day.

Same here, i was one of his critics aswell.

but he did go from being a footballer to an athlete at one stage, also the money got to his head.

but it looks like he's settled down now and has thought about everything that's less important off the pitch.

he's starting to look like the micah richards of 2006/07 again.

I'm not gonna give a full on apology yet because there were times when Illegitimate Giggs skinned him, but he was much better on Saturday

Irrespective of Giggs age,Micah wont be and hasn`t been the only good full back, who at times Giggs turned inside out at times.
Sometimes you`ve got to give credit.Having said that,a lot of Giggs crossing was piss poor, thankfully, with only one decent ball that the Scotch prick headed safely into Harts hands.
Micah is slowly getting back to his old form IMO.
funny how we say old form when hes still only 23...seems to have been here forever. the lad is getting his footballing brain sorted slowly but surely.

There certainly has been a massive improvement and he has really proved himself this year and for me , if he keeps this up , should be there from now on . He suddenly looks extremely quick , he skinned evra for pace countless times at the weekend and he was like a bulldozer when he is surging forward . Long may his form continue
