Micah Not Going To Euros (Walker Out Injured Too)

Can't believe it I feel really sorry for Micah, never mind son keep polishing your medal and make some room in the cabinet for lots more to come.

Praps he's not going because he's not fit ? I have a suspicion he will have an early summer op, so he will be fit for August.
This was my first thought too. Yes, Richards has been on the bench and ready to come on when needed in recent games, but that still doesn't mean he's 100% fit. It may be that he's been carrying a niggling injury for quite some time now and everyone has decided it's best all round if he finally has it put right with an operation over the summer.

Personally, he was probably willing and happy to play through the pain for England at the Euros, but then that would be at the expense of our pre-season, and I'd much rather he misses this tournament than a single game for City. Maybe Bobby, Woy and both sets of doctors have made the decision for him.

That's my completely uninformed take on it anyway.

He will be first choice RB for the Olympics then.

Fucking great!

Isn't he too old at 24, don't players have to be 21 or under and only two over age allowed, so Giggs and Becks will have them

Ha, fuck this shit, I'm doing a Matt Holland. I've lived in Germany, it's just as good as the 'Granny rule'.

Los geht's Deutschland, kämpfen und siegen!

If he was carrying an injury wouldn't he of made himself unavailable? Gutted for him, best English RB this season and also captained the Champions of England a few times this season excellently.

Woy Hodgson. RANKER!

To be fair to him this sort of thing can be expected when the England manager is appointed so close to the tournament. Hodgson has probably seen him play live a handful of times this season. He's probably seen that he's out of the team and assumed he's not playing well.
