Lost a bit of respect for Hodgson today by picking Downing over Johnson.
 
Probably best he is out of it , because that team are going to struggle and get slated so not good for moral, so micah can start season for us with no shit from the press because England failed, can't imagine to many defenders in Europe having sleepless nights about facing well shit and Carroll

He probably got picked as he's shit at pens, he'll fit right in.
 
Was it Hodgson who signed Downing for the dippers or was that Dalgleish?

It worries me that AJ will view his non-selection as being down to lack of game time (though that hasn't stopped Oxlade Chamberlain). If so, he may be offski, which IMO would be a real shame.
