One player who hasn't really been mentioned yet after last night's performance is Micah (can't see a thread anywhere) - and that can only be a good thing!

When I saw the teamsheet, I mentally prepared myself for seeing Micah switch off in the 85th minute and leave Clichy completely free down the left to whip in a cross for that tw*t Van Persie to nod in.

Thankfully, it didn't happen. I thought he was excellent: maintained his concentration levels throughout, looked strong, wasn't afraid to bomb down the line occasionally, timed his tackles well, read the game fairly well, adopted good defensive positions. At the moment, I feel a lot more comfortable with him playing right back than anyone else; at least until Kolarov really ups his game, that is.

Won't ever be a regular starter, but it's good to know that he can step in and do a decent job under pressure.

I thought he did ok tbh, still his control lets him down though. Does he have the end product?

He might become a regular starter, remember he's still only 22. After Goalkeeper he's probably playing in the position where you benefit most from experience.

Mancini has taken him out of the spot light, i think the outside pressure and expectation has been released from Micah a bit, now he's free just to concentrate on his own game and keep improving.

He did pretty well against Nasri/Van Persie who were swapping a lot. Unfortunately I don't think he's a good enough attacker to play right back, when he gets in good positions he can't do much with the ball!

he owes mancini so much, im amazed hes still here to be honest, i was sure he would leave. but he has turned over a new leaf, and if he continues should reclaim is england rb slot as johnson is awful

He's not played many games in the last month! I feel Mancini have been working on his defensive work

Most improved player, since Mancini took over, still room for improvement though.

Last night i thought hr did quite well, even if Kolo had to cover for him a couple of times.
