One player who hasn't really been mentioned yet after last night's performance is Micah (can't see a thread anywhere) - and that can only be a good thing!
When I saw the teamsheet, I mentally prepared myself for seeing Micah switch off in the 85th minute and leave Clichy completely free down the left to whip in a cross for that tw*t Van Persie to nod in.
Thankfully, it didn't happen. I thought he was excellent: maintained his concentration levels throughout, looked strong, wasn't afraid to bomb down the line occasionally, timed his tackles well, read the game fairly well, adopted good defensive positions. At the moment, I feel a lot more comfortable with him playing right back than anyone else; at least until Kolarov really ups his game, that is.
Won't ever be a regular starter, but it's good to know that he can step in and do a decent job under pressure.
