Micah Richards Return..

Zaba's consistent run in the team at the end of last season was one of the main reasons City won the league. He's a defender who is better than Richards at just that - defending. Point your finger at our creative & attacking players.

No, Richards being one of top City players in first part of a season when title was won was one of main reasons City won the title.

As much as 6 wins on the end were great stuff and as much as we occasionally played very good football in those games they were never close to brilliance we showed with Richards in team in first half of a season.

There's no a single thing Zabaleta is as good as Richards as much as I love him.

Better tackler and better positional sense.

I'm not really football pro and I don't look at stuff like that nor do I think that average football fan is able to rate stuff like "positional sense" or "great movement" as much as average football fan likes to use those phrases.

I look it in a simple way - I'd rather have Micah back and I'd rather have Micah up front than Zaba. I think Micah is better defender and I think he is better in attack. And I'm sure City never played as good football as in period Micah was regular starter in first half of the season. He is able to do his stuff and he gives lot of options that make other players better too.

Sorry Zaba :), I love you as much as any of those who rate you more than Richards but I just don't think you're as good as him.

looking at the other full backs i would say there is a bigger gap in quality between clichey and kolarov and i know who i prefer.when i hear the team and hear zab or mica at full back i have no worries.i would say mica is about 5% better than zab because of his speed but not much in it

There have been several positives this season.
Name em
Well, to name a few:

- The spirit and fight to come back and win against West Brom, Tottenham and Fulham.
- Last minute wins against Reading and West Brom (sign of a winning team).
- Remaining unbeaten for the first 14 games of the season.
- Matija Nastasic.
- Dominating against Real Madrid for 45 minutes.
- We've shown that we can win comfortably away without Kompany.
But seriously what did the Romans ever do for us

So because you can't determine whether someone has good positional sense or not then nobody else can? Riiiiiight!!

No, I just don't think you can't, haven't seen anything from you that would make me think different ;)

Just like didn't think any of those who were repeating Balotelli's supposed world class movement stuff to death after they've heard Neville saying it once had any idea what they were talking about.

Just fancy phrases average football fan uses to make himself cool and knowledgeable and even if he's right it's usually repeating something he heard/read somewhere. Except strong minority you're not really member of :)

Richards is a big miss because at the moment we are missing something from our attacking play, and there aren't many better players than Micah at attacking the dead ball line. That part of his game has improved so much in recent seasons
