I'm not really football pro and I don't look at stuff like that nor do I think that average football fan is able to rate stuff like "positional sense" or "great movement" as much as average football fan likes to use those phrases.

I look it in a simple way - I'd rather have Micah back and I'd rather have Micah up front than Zaba. I think Micah is better defender and I think he is better in attack. And I'm sure City never played as good football as in period Micah was regular starter in first half of the season. He is able to do his stuff and he gives lot of options that make other players better too.

Sorry Zaba :), I love you as much as any of those who rate you more than Richards but I just don't think you're as good as him.

So because you can't determine whether someone has good positional sense or not then nobody else can? Riiiiiight!!

No, I just don't think you can't, haven't seen anything from you that would make me think different ;)

Just like didn't think any of those who were repeating Balotelli's supposed world class movement stuff to death after they've heard Neville saying it once had any idea what they were talking about.

Just fancy phrases average football fan uses to make himself cool and knowledgeable and even if he's right it's usually repeating something he heard/read somewhere. Except strong minority you're not really member of :)

It's not rocket surgery. No PhD required, even for "average" (?) people, or those who've played it.

Love zabaleta defending, his fitness, desire, and going forward.
Micah, Great engine, power , and an absolute beast in the air. I think Zabs is at his peak now, where If Micah can get a run of injury free games under his belt, then he can improve in to one of the worlds finest.

What on earth are you talking about? You don't know me, what qualifies you to judge what I do or don't know?

I can assure you that I don't repeat anything I hear or read from pundits. I don't actually watch or listen to pundits. I watch football and formulate my own opinions based on what I see.

Your opinion about world class Balotelli is enough for me to see what kind of football knowledge you have.

Anyway, I could do without my previous comments and say stuff I wanted to say about Micah and Zaba without that, it was uncalled, I guess I was tensed after some discussions on other threads.

As the team's plan A depends on quality attacking play by an overlapping fullback - we desperately need a fully fit Micah back. That's not to say I don't think Zaba is a good player - he's great at defending but he really isn't in the same league as Micah when we attack.

In the long term I see Zabba sitting in the right DM slot or as emergency replacement at RFB, LFB or RDM or LDM or sub [ALWAYS selected if fit]. Micah as RW, RFB or RCH - maybe even in Ya Ya's position - he certainly has the power. It depends on the opposition, who's injured and who needs a rest.

zabba in defensive midfield role (he has done it once or twice) and richards at fullback.

would def rather have zabba in there than garcia when needed!!!!!!

Did I ever say Balotelli is world class?

All I've done is defend him against the more ludicrous attacks on him.

As much as I love Zabaleta and think he's an absolute workhorse and opitimises our team spirit - the power that Richards gives down the right-hand side could add another dimension to the our play that I personally feel Zaba doesn't give us fully at the moment.

I'd be right in saying most of us blues all love Zabaleta but in terms of an attacking threat down the wings I'd have to say the introduction of Micah would really give us some extra fire-power and another outlet down the flanks which I feel is currently lacking!

Does anybody know when Micah will be back and fully fit?

he's still on one crutch so a least 6 weeks then 4 weeks at least training back up to full fitness. I'd be surprised if he's ready before March.
