Micah Richards Return..

As much as I love Zabaleta and think he's an absolute workhorse and opitimises our team spirit - the power that Richards gives down the right-hand side could add another dimension to the our play that I personally feel Zaba doesn't give us fully at the moment.

I'd be right in saying most of us blues all love Zabaleta but in terms of an attacking threat down the wings I'd have to say the introduction of Micah would really give us some extra fire-power and another outlet down the flanks which I feel is currently lacking!

Does anybody know when Micah will be back and fully fit?
Have to agree. This is the optimum time to add a player to the team who spends most of his time stood around wondering where the fuck he's supposed to be on the pitch....

How about playing Micah as a right winger interchanging with Zaba on the flank. He can also play full back and allow Roberto to Shore up the defence to close out a game.

Probably the player we have missed most this season (mainly for putting lesser light teams to the sword).

Hardly worth Richards even botherin' now , he might just as well call it a draw until next season ...... if he gets himself fit for for the start of next season he'll then have a full 38 games in which to get himself injured again!

Micah as a right winger hahahaha. Class idea.I am sure he is perfectly suited to the role.

the fact that zabaleta is likely player of the season is telling. he's not even our best right back

Zab will be the player of the year easy, the fans treat him like he's come through the ranks...Not the greatest but 100% everytime, that's why everyone loves him but he's not a midfielder...So it's him or Micah..

Judging the form of our left backs, Zaba could be slotted into left back.

Expect our switch to the 5 men defense to ease Richards in in the dying minutes.

Micah is still, in my opinion, a centre back, he was brilliant against Sunderland this season when we got our first clean sheet.
I think that next season we will only need to replace Lescott (if he leaves) because we have Micah who can fill in Kolo's place and if that's not possible then we have Rekik, Rodwell, Garcia and Yaya who can all fill in in Centre Back.
