Exactly what I was thinking. Zab's done just as well in the final third of the pitch as Richards. He gets himself into some incredible positions, but he shares another common trait with Micah - there's rarely any final product. That's simply because neither are quite good enough to fulfill the particular role that Mancini wants out of them. I'm equally comfortable with Zab or Micah, as overall they both give us the same thing, so I wouldn't go pinning any major hopes of improvement on Richards' return. The problem comes when neither Clichy or Kolarov are available on the left, as we become even more painfully predictable.
