Micah Richards the pundit

Nedum is really good, i listen to his podcast and he's getting better as well. But everyone is just assuming these guys are only getting in BECAUSE they're black, not that they are finally being into the closed off environment AND they are black.
I think Joe is a bit boring tbfh, maybe he'll lighten up a bit once he leaves football. But Gaz Baz is basically the same person

Fully agree, but my point was more aimed at the City-quota rather than their actual ability (Kompany and Zabaleta are also both fairly bland)
The Millennials have only ever known City as a top Premier League outfit forever challenging for the major honours. This demographic will be become more influential over the next decade as they start to become homeowners and Digital TV subscribers.
For the same reason I fully expect Souness to soon disappear, as subscribers won't remember him as a player.

NDJ is on for Bein i think, tbh i don't think he's great but he's ok, yet they still plod along with hairy hands and Gray. The whole system needs pulling down and starting again.

Gray is a well balanced pundit with no agenda towards City.
Hairy hands the complete opposite.
Brilliant when Nige and Gray put him in his place.
The one I think could be a great pundit is Troy Deeney.
Comes across really well with no agenda.

Micah's biggest job is to elevate his punditry performance over the next couple of years. He's still relatively new to it. His default laugh-mode will carry him only so far. I think he needs to get more detailed analysis into the air time he's allotted. At times, he doesn't really say a great deal after his "laugh" response and repeating the question he's just been spoon-fed.
It's entertaning watching him and listening to him and he is a refreshing change from the others Shearer, Jenas, Keown, Wio, Scholes etc (and better than Lescott, Gaz Baz and Dunney for example). I think he still can get much better though and hopefully will, given time.

Disagree with that. Micah is entertainment, he's very good at it. he isn't somebody with vast tactical knowledge so why should he try and be something he isn't, all you'll get is a less entertaining Micah with kids level analysis that adds no real insight like you get from 95% of pundits already. I don't want to see him try to explain a very simple tactical tweak and drag it out for 5 minutes I want to see him ripping into his fellow pundits, winding them up and basking in the glory of our immense team.

Can agree with some of that, though I don't find him entertaining, but i didn't find Tommy Cooper funny either.
Luckily for him he is hardly in a pool of talent, so no worse than plenty.

Gary Lineker was, to say the least, 'wooden' for many years and still can be. That said, he does an ok job now despite his lack of charisma. If Micah is afforded a similar amount of grace and works to develop more sophisticated views, opinions & comments, he too can emerge as a serious pundit. At the moment I feel it's fair to say he's a tad lightweight and, as someone has mentioned, is 'spoon-fed' questions which he repeats and give's often facile answers reflecting current media click - bait headlines, e.g. there's an article on BBC today talking about, among other things, us winning the quadruple and champions league etc. In short, he needs to take punditry more seriously if he's to increase his credibility.
BTW, I absolutely love Micah and wish him nothing but success and happiness.

I'd rather watch Micah laughing than Camelgob, the ginger dwarf, Owen or Shearer looking like someone just died offstage.

Some people often get the definition of Millennials wrong:

The term Millennials generally refers to the generation of people born between the early 1980s and 1990s, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. ... The Millennial Generation is also known as Generation Y, because it comes after Generation X — those people between the early 1960s and the very early 1980s.

noun
  1. a person reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century.

Millennials, like myself, actually grew up with City being absolutely shite haha!
