He can be a yes-man too but compare it to Lescott who you could hear screaming on co-comms when Bernie put us 1 up against Madrid at home.

He's very marmite. You either love him or hate him. I can fully understand how he'd grate on people. Nedum is streets ahead of him as a pundit. But, at a guess, Micah is seen as having/being a personality.
