The guy is everything wrong with the ‘banter before insight’ culture in modern sports coverage.

Even F1, my other sporting passion apart from City and once a bastion of sensible grownup coverage, have gone down the same road in recent years. The likes of Sky are only interested in capturing the attention of casual “fans” and creating shareable clips for social media.
