Micah Richards the pundit

I’ve always liked Micah as a player and a man. But. I’ve just turned the radio on to continuous laughter. I mean non-stop. Had to turn it off. Completely doing my head in!

Its even worse with Kris Akabussi's similar laughter. Micah is not seeking attention.
But was too effusive for me in his praise of Cavani and what a great signing he is for United on BBC. He's getting about a bit. BBC is not as easy to avoid as Sky.

He is rapidly becoming the new Garth Crooks, talking for the sake of it and talking some utter drivel at times.

If he's endorsing the Cavani signing he's one of two things.
A huge wum taking the piss or another paid stooge pandering to his audience.

The latter, he is now in the system, he must be making even more money with all these TV gigs than he was as a player.

Last night he completely missed the opportunity to point out that Lingard has brought the Twitter storm down on himself the way he posted shite when he was flavour of the month with his dabbing and gurning.

I love him but I do wish he’d speak a bit faster. It’s 3 words, then a grimace, another 3 words, pause, grimace, 2 words, grimace. I guess that’ll be ironed out with experience.

Got the makings of a great pundit though. Just needs the experience, which he’s going to get.
The pauses and grimaces, I think, could be him trying not to fall into the traps they’ve tried to set for him. I think he’ll be great for city, in terms of the pundits having an honest debate, instead of just city bashing. But for him to have that effect he’ll need to take his time and settle in.
Souness stays impartial and I’ve seen him many times on RTÉ and Sly sports, put a stop to rag pundits having a go at us. Because of his stature in the game and experience in the pundit role he generally shuts them up. I know he’s perceived as Liverpool s man in the seat, but he genuinely seems to love how we play football the past few years. He doesn’t pander to anyone’s narrative and says what he see’s not what he’s being directed to say.
Micah will grow into the role and it’ll be great to have a blue in the pundit role. Though I fear by the time he does, football will be unrecognisable to those of us who grew up watching it in the 80s and 90s and before.

i think he spoke very well, from the heart. I like him, he also clearly loves his job and has an enthusiasm for the game. He may ramble a bit at times but its getting less so and for me that makes him more human and genuine. I find some of the pundits false and too polished, we know exactly what they are like in real life. Carragher is a prime example, I simply dont believe or trust him on what he says its all for the camera in my opinion.
Carragher is a vile human being, his voice makes me feel both angry and nauseous, even the other day when villa smashed them. He can’t speak well, and even if he could put the words together, it would still sound like the audio equivalent of a plate of week old refried fishfingers.
And talking is his job. The vapid **** loses his temper and spits on a child and years later, we’re still having to endure his shite. He still has his reputation and status in tact. He should’ve been let without a pundit job and he should’ve been taken to court and made a show of. Normal people don’t do this, and yet this this **** who’s constantly on the telly thinks he’s above any moral standing that the rest of society might go by. Disgrace. Must’ve been some amount of candles lit for the twat to make sure he stayed on with Sly. Disgraceful. A couple of weeks ago when Micah was talking about black lives matter, the camera panned a couple of time to carragher who was almost tripping over himself in his seat to think of and say something clever. Fortunely he didn’t.
